A gentle, loving soul who truly broke the mold. Willow gifted us six years of unforgettable memories since Mary and John adopted her from A Dog’s Dream Rescue in Kentucky. I was blessed with the opportunity to get to know her and learn how deep the love that her heart carried was. Quiet as a mouse, calm, emotionally intelligent, she was inseparably bonded to her human. I watched her transform from a skittish, abused, underweight puppy, to an extremely affectionate, relaxed and healthy member of her family. She was well known in the neighbourhood, for the smiles that she painted on peoples’ hearts. To those she loved, Willow gave the best hugs which to this day, remain.
