This piece captures a digital game character designed by the subject, translating it into a hand painted memory. The Immortal Bane is a fighter who readily wrestles any opponent he imagines. Though the colour choices I included in this piece are bold, they’ve been dulled to match the moody atmosphere that Bane carries into the ring with him. Underneath the gloss varnish, marks of pastel, acrylic paint, water, markers, and coloured pencils are immortalized.
